a client’s perspective
I’m excited to share a powerful insight from a client’s experience, highlighting a remarkable practice that may seem unconventional at first and might make you feel uncertain. However, it is truly empowering. This work represents a beautiful reclamation of our body’s wisdom—something that deserves to be celebrated, not silenced. Let’s embrace this journey together and support one another as sisters, as we used to.
If you feel the call, Ellasfield awaits.
Big love, Kim x
“I came to Kim's womb steam and wrapping session with an intention to release any old fears still held in my womb and to call in my wise womb power and creativity. What unfolded was remarkable.
Kim held a safe and sacred space in her beautiful yurt, which itself feels like a womb. Her gentle, intuitive presence allowed me to completely surrender into the process. From the moment I sat over the steam bath after choosing my herbs, through to the wrapping and anointing with the oil I chose, I felt held by someone who truly understands the deep medicine of womb work.
During the session, an ancient voice came through me—a keening voice connected to my Irish ancestors. It was a birthing cry, a releasing, and a reclamation all at once. The land itself responded, with rain blessing the yurt roof as this work completed. Kim's steady holding of the space allowed this profound ancestral healing to emerge without interference or interpretation—she simply witnessed and tended with exquisite care.
The wrapping was equally transformative. Kim rolled and swaddled me with tenderness and I felt I was being rebirthed. She brushed me with a feather while I was cocooned, and I lost all sense of time, entering a liminal space where deep cellular healing occurred.
Kim is fully present without imposing her own agenda or narrative onto the experience. She created the container, offered the tools, and then stepped back to allow the mystery to unfold.
I have experienced a lifetime of painful periods, heavy bleeding, stillbirth, miscarriage, invasive treatments and a difficult menopause. This session with Kim helped me further understand that my womb wasn't broken—it was carrying ancestral traumas, wisdom and preparing me for my work as a death doula and psychopomp. The ceremony Kim facilitated allowed me to release generations of silencing and reclaim my voice and my ancestral role as a keeper of threshold mysteries.
I emerged from Kim's yurt anointed, transformed, and reconnected to my lineage in ways I'm still integrating. The session was powerful beyond words, and I am deeply grateful for Kim's skilled, compassionate, and sacred facilitation.
If you are called to womb healing work, particularly if you sense there are ancestral patterns or deep griefs held in your body, I cannot recommend Kim highly enough. She is a true holder of ancient feminine wisdom, and her work is medicine for both the personal and the ancestral body”.
