If you felt a 'yes' to any of these, you are in the right place. Whatever your journey has been, you are warmly welcomed here to rest, release, and remember who you truly are.

What is Womb Tending?

Womb tending is a profound ancient tradition that is gaining popularity and resonating deeply with the modern woman. Unlike conventional medical practices, this nurturing approach embraces the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms. Womb tending seeks to uncover the root causes of issues rather than merely masking them with medication, offering an opportunity for a compassionate journey back to internal harmony.

The womb is a powerful and intricate space, functioning as a container for energy. As little ones, many of us aren't taught that our bodies hold onto the imprints of traumatic events and emotional experiences. Unprocessed emotions—particularly traumatic ones—manifest as chronic muscle tension, restricted breathing, and altered hormone levels as the body remains in a perpetual survival state (fight-or-flight).

The womb holds our emotional traumas, grief, and memories of past partners. Many women are discovering comfort in approaches that allow their personal stories to be fully heard. These methods focus on trauma healing and emotional release, addressing feelings such as shame and grief. In place of these negative emotions, new insights into the natural rhythms of life emerge, facilitating a reconnection with the sacral chakra—the centre of 'sweetness' that unlocks creativity and deepens intuition. This process leads to a more abundant life.

Benefits & Outcomes of Womb Tending

❋ Somatic Memory and Fascia

It is common for unprocessed emotions, trauma, and stress to become stored in the pelvic region. This can lead to discomfort, tension, and constriction in the fascia and soft tissues, as well as many physical ailments. Acknowledging this can be the first step toward healing.

❋ Ancestral Trauma

Our bodies respond to chronic stress in profound ways. The uterus, rich in nerve endings, can feel the effects of stress, which triggers the fight-or-flight response, releasing cortisol and adrenaline. This can create tissue tightness, holding onto these experiences long after they occur.

❋ Energetic Threads

The womb carries the energetic imprints of past sexual encounters and emotional experiences. Both positive and negative memories can linger.

❋ The Nervous System

Epigenetics is showing us that our wombs also hold the weight of epigenetic, ancestral, and generational pain. This shared legacy can be passed down through the female lineage, connecting us to the experiences of those who came before us and can show up in a host of physical symptoms. In-utero experience can act as a bridge for passing down familial stress, essentially making the womb a space where ancestral emotions can be stored and transmitted. Womb tending offers a container for releasing emotional, physical, and energetic imprints that can be carried within the body.

  • Kim held a safe and sacred space in her beautiful yurt, which itself feels like a womb. Her gentle, intuitive presence allowed me to surrender completely to the process. Kim is fully present without imposing her own agenda or narrative onto the experience. She created the container, offered the tools, and then stepped back to allow the mystery to unfold. Kim is a true holder of ancient feminine wisdom, and her work is medicine for both the personal and the ancestral body.

The ceremony of the womb tending

What to expect

Steaming

The healing potential of carefully selected plants and herbs, combined with the ritual of steaming, connects with the body's vagus nerve—the integral 'rest and digest' system. Through warmth and relaxation, this practice alleviates pelvic tension, promoting stress relief and overall well-being.

Shamanic Ritual and Ceremony

Engaging in rituals and ceremonies empowers women to slow down and become more intentional about their health and wellness. Shamanic healing works with the emotional imprints held within the body, addresses ancestral trauma, and supports the reclamation of feminine power.

Soul retrieval is an advanced technique that helps you welcome back the lost pieces of yourself. Have you ever experienced an event that made you feel different—like a part of you was missing? This is known as soul loss, and many of us go through it without understanding why we feel empty or changed after a traumatic moment.

This healing process allows you to become the creator of your own life, rather than feeling the need to hustle or control every detail to achieve success.

Robozzo Massage

The gentle abdominal and Rebozo massage employs luxurious shawls to rock and sift the body, assisting in the movement of stagnant energies.

This technique enhances relaxation, provides the container for rest and integration, and completes the 2.5-hour healing session.

Wrapping of the Bones

This ritual consolidates energy and supports transitions through gentle compression. Utilising rebozo shawls for both massage and wrapping, it facilitates a seamless integration process following yoni steaming and healing. This transformative experience allows individuals to feel truly held and nurtured.
