TRUST YOUR BEAUTIFUL BODY

Sometimes, we realise we’ve become stiff, our bodies are sore, and we’re not truly living our lives to the fullest.

That inner voice whispers to us that life holds so much more, yet we often choose to ignore it and distract ourselves.

When I was 20, I confided in my talk therapist that I dreamed of one day being a woman who danced barefoot on the land. She looked at me with a blank stare, and I took that as a sign that my dream was impossible. But today, I am living that dream!

It’s neither pretty nor choreographed — I haven’t had formal dance training since childhood ballet lessons. What matters here is that I’ve broken free from the conditioning of feeling not good enough, not being perfect, and fearing judgment that kept me frozen.

It's time to allow our bodies to lead us in releasing deep-seated trauma, hidden emotions and shedding the shadows of the past that keep us stuck in fear, closed off from new and exciting possibilities.

Did you know that your body—your structure, your spine—acts as a masculine support system as you dance into your feminine, expansive, and profoundly healing inner world? Dance shows us that we have everything we need inside. It encourages us to trust our own strength, to become the nurturing parent to ourselves, and to embody the loving presence we may have missed in our life story.

How wonderful it is to realise that your happiness and fulfilment do not depend on anyone or anything outside of you.

Why not embrace the resistance and try anyway? Play your favorite track, let your body gently guide you, and shake out whatever you’re feeling. Trust that your body knows what it needs in this moment, whether the movements are big or small.

When your heart calls, Ellasfield awaits.

Big love, Kim x
